What a start for Dummett

Paul Dummett came in against Liverpool FC and scored a goal, what a start for a youngester, and here is what coach Pardew had to say on his performance:

“He came over to tell me the player he was marking at set-pieces, Mamadou Sakho had gone off, so I said to him ‘well, mark someone bigger then’.”

“We all had a bit of a chuckle about it,  because we all knew he had gone off too.” “Most players just adjust to that but there is a lovely naivety about him.”

“He is such a lovely boy, trust me and we know him and his dad Ian really, really well, and his family must be pleased as punch with him.”

“Every boy in this area wants to play for United and wants to score goals.”  ”I’ve scored at the Gallowgate end and it’s something no one can take away from you!”
