Roma defender Bruno Peres has claimed he wants to sign a contract extension with the Giallorossi and that he has changed his attitude.
The Brazilian spoke at a press conference ahead of Thursday’s Champions League clash against Cluj.
“Right now I am thinking to do weel with Roma. I have the motivation to renew the contract, I am doing everything to do it, because I want it. I hope to deserve this renewal,” the 30-year-old said.
His current deal expires at the end of the season.
“If things are good inside the pitch, then good things will arrive.”
The former Torino man begun the current season with COVID.
“It was difficult because I did not train with the team. I am now reaching their level and it is very important.
“At first, I struggled a bit but what I changed was my attitude. What I started doing off the pitch is helping on it.
“You have to have the right head and 100% concentration in every game. That’s what I try to do.
“The head is the right one, the head of a professional, and this is helping me a lot. I am happy with this change and that I am playing well. I am trying to give my best in every game”.
