Roma could be forced to find a new club for Cengiz Under, as it’s reported Leicester City will not take up their option to buy.
The 23-year-old Turkey international moved to Leicester on loan for €3m in September 2020 with an option to buy for €23m.
However, Turkish site Sporx maintains the Premier League club is unconvinced and not prepared to make the transfer permanent.
He managed just 19 competitive appearances this season with two goals and three assists.
That creates problems for Roma, who need to find another buyer for the winger.
A return to Turkey is possible, with Fenerbahce said to be interested.
