Roma continue their revamp under new owners, as Vice-President Mauro Baldissoni has resigned and the club terminated his contract early.
It is part of a shake-up of the club infrastructure under new owners Dan and Ryan Friedkin.
“AS Roma and Mauro Baldissoni can confirm that they have reached an agreement to bring an early end to their working relationship,” read a statement.
“As a result, on Monday afternoon Mr Baldissoni submitted his letter of resignation, effective immediately, from his role as board member and Vice President of the club, along with all the other responsibilities he previously held either for the club or as part of NEEP Roma Holding S.p.A.
“Baldissoni joined the club in 2011 and was appointed General Manager in July 2013, under Jim Pallotta’s presidency.
“In February 2019 he was named AS Roma’s Vice President, tasked with managing the Stadio della Roma approval process.
“The club would like to thank Mr Baldissoni for his tireless dedication to both the club and, in more recent years, the Stadio della Roma project, and wishes him and his family the best for the future.”
