Lazio forward Andreas Pereira said he ‘immediately understood the importance’ of the Derby della Capitale.
The Brazilian moved on loan from Manchester United last summer and has played 24 times in Serie A this term.
Pereira didn’t play in the first derby this term, as the 25-year-old was on the bench, but he still remembers the 3-0 win over the Giallorossi.
“I immediately understood the importance of the derby as soon as I arrived in Rome,” Pereira said, according to PagineRomaniste.com.
“The people here at the club explained everything to me, it’s a special emotion. The last derby we won 3-0, it was important for me.”
