Reports are growing in the Netherlands that PSV director John de Jong is the latest candidate for the Roma job.
The Giallorossi are still without a director of sport after sacking Gianluca Petrachi in June, so CEO Guido Fienga has been in charge of transfer negotiations.
There have been numerous names mentioned as contenders, including Lille chief Luis Campos.
Now Voetbal International and Eindhovens Dagblad claim that Roma are showing genuine interest in PSV Eindhoven director de Jong.
His situation at PSV is somewhat tense, as he almost left several times since taking the role in 2018 and angered home fans by sacking Mark van Bommel in December.
Roma are under new ownership this season, as Dan Friedkin bought out previous patron James Pallotta in September.
