Roma must compensate Petrachi

Former Roma sporting director Gianluca Petrachi reportedly won the lawsuit against the Giallorossi over his dismissal last year.

Last summer, the director was suspended and then sacked, but he didn’t accept the reason and requested a compensation.

Sky Sport Italia journalist Gianluca Di Marzio reports the former Torino director won the appeal in the Court of Rome.

The court ‘ascertained the inexistence of just cause for the dismissal, condemning the club to the compensation, both the loss of salaries and damage to his image’.

The previous reports have claimed Petrachi requested a compensation of €5m.
