Roma reportedly have Chris Smalling available for the match against CSKA Sofia in the Europa League.
The Giallorossi are through to the last 32 of the competition after the 3-1 win against Young Boys last week, meaning that Paulo Fonseca could give some of his fringe players needed minutes on Thursday.
Included are the players returning from injury who need playing time and La Lupa will, according to Il Corriere dello Sport, have Chris Smalling back in the Europa League match.
The defender resumed training on Saturday and will train with the team again this morning, unless he has another setback.
The newspaper reports the former England international could start against Bologna in Serie A on Sunday too.
