?Sampdoria striker Patrick Schick could be on the verge of a move to Inter after a proposed deal to join Juventus fell through.
?Ginaluca Di Marzio has reported that the Czech forward’s representatives have met with the Inter hierarchy to discuss the details of the potential transfer. According to the Italian journalist, Schick, who found the net 11 times in 32 Serie A appearances last season, ‘
“The clubs Sampdoria and Juventus announce that it was decided, by mutual agreement, not to complete the transfer of the player Patrik Schick,” a statement said.
“What they found is equivalent to a cold!” he told Il Secolo XIX. “
“I think he’ll eventually go to Juventus, otherwise we’ll take him back and add a nice ‘maybe,’ given his release clause has now expired and we can sell him for not just €30m but possibly €40-50m.”
Udinese’s Jakub Jankto, who played with Schick for the Czech Republic at the European Under-21 Championship, added: “I knew he had some minor heart problems, but they shouldn’t be anything serious.”
